Hospice care from Home of St. Theresa focuses on the relief of a terminally ill patient’s distress and symptoms and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs during the final stages of life. Our team of physicians, nurses, social workers, hospice aides, volunteers, and others work together to prioritize comfort and quality of life by reducing pain and suffering, providing companionship, and easing family caregivers’ burdens.
Hospice care is physician-directed and tailored to each patient’s needs. Our service is carried out to the place wherever a patient calls home. We also work with family members and caregivers to provide personalized care for their loved ones. Our care focuses on quality of life, on the wishes of the patient and family, and on easing distress at the end of life and the months preceding death.
